Return
Policy
Most items purchased from AceHardwareDirect.com can be
returned.
Exceptions:
-Items over 70 lbs
-Due to shipping regulations, items with gasoline engines cannot be
returned after gasoline has been added to the tank. These items
must be repaired at a local authorized Factory Service Center.
Restocking Fees will be applied in certain situations.
How to Return an
Item
Simply log on to your account, then select Return Authorization
Form (if you're already logged in, just click here: Return
Authorization Form). Fill the form out completely, and we will
provide you with return instructions. Returns must be post-marked
within 30 days from the date received, and in re-sellable condition
to avoid a 20% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for all
shipping costs to & from AceHardwareDirect.com, unless it was
our error.
Note: Any
defective Wolverine Boot returns are to be authorized by Wolverine
direct at 800-545-2425 and are to be returned to Wolverine for
inspection of defective product.
Restocking
Fees
Some items may be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee, this will be
assessed when the product is returned to AceHardwareDirect.com.
Normal charges will apply for an exchange.
If
AceHardwareDirect.com offers FREE SHIPPING and you return the
product for a full refund, you will be charged a $20.00 restocking
fee.
If you order a
product from AceHardwareDirect.com and it is a freight shipped
product, there will be a restocking fee of 20% charge associated if
the product has shipped.
If you order a
freight item(s) and the product has shipped, you will be subjected
to pay for the shipping and handling fee as well as a restocking
fee of 20%.
Order
Cancellation
At AceHardwareDirect.com, you can cancel any order at any time
before the order is shipped out, & there will not be any
additional restocking charges or shipping charges. If you cancel
after the product has shipped out, a 25% restocking fee, and
shipping & handling charges will apply. If the order is refused
by the customer (even if its a free shipping item)at the delivery
location, the fee will be charged to the customer for the delivery
to and from to the point of origin.
A refund will
not be issued if non-defective merchandise is returned in visibly
used, or damaged condition.
Orders "Refused" without
authorization
Returns that were shipped back after 30 days of the date received
(Note: unless authorized, late returns will be rejected) Once we
receive your return, please allow 14 days for us to inspect and
process your return. Purchases will be refunded to the account you
provided when you placed your order. Purchases made with
AceHardwareDirect.com Gift Cards cannot be returned for cash, but
may be exchanged for another product or store credit.
Large Item (Over 70 lbs)
Return Policy
Due to the expense of shipping heavy items, large items have a
separate Return Policy. Be sure to carefully inspect all Heavy Item
(freight) deliveries for damage before signing the bill of lading,
as freight liner handling charges cannot be refunded. If items
arrive damaged or defective, you must note this on the shipping
receipt and refuse delivery to avoid paying actual freight charges.
Please notify us of any delivery problems as soon as possible to
expedite the refund process.
Please note
that you will be responsible for the actual freight costs in the
following instances:
You miss your delivery appointment or you refuse or return a
non-damaged, non-defective item.

ACEHARDWAREDIRECT.COM RETURN – REFUND POLICY
If you are not
completely satisfied with your purchase simply return merchandise
along with your original receipt within 30 days of purchase, unless
a shorter return period is indicated. AceHardwareDirect.com will,
at our sole discretion, repair it, replace it, or refund your money
based on method of payment.
A refund of
the same type payment will be issued only when accompanied by a
AceHardwareDirect.com Receipt.
Merchandise
returned without a receipt may be exchanged for merchandise or
equal value, subject to last sale price. No cash refund will be
given.
All returns –
refunds are subject to AceHardwareDirect.com’s discretion.
Gas powered
equipment once used, is not returnable. Once gas and oil is
installed in gas powered units, only the manufactures warranty
applies and are not returnable.
Special orders
are to be paid in full at the time of purchase and returns are
subject to a 15% or greater restocking fee if manufacturer allows
the return.
These remedies
are your exclusive remedies and all other remedies are hereby
excluded. All warranties express or implied, including the implied
warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
are expressly excluded. The exclusions herein are subject to and
may be limited by applicable law and you may have additional
rights.
